I love when I find vintage US Naval duffle bags as they make the perfect all round tote or weekender bag. The canvas is really durable and we added a heavy leather bottom to it as well as 9oz vegetable tanned leather straps with solid copper rivets. The inside is fully lined with heavy canvas and two interior pockets. We also added a large hair on cowhide leather pocket to the outside of the tote to allow for easy access to phones, keys etc. We always celebrate and highlight the vintage details in pieces from the past so we chose to keep the original heavy duty brass grommets from the vintage US Naval duffle.
